Average daytime temperatures are a very mild 27 degrees C, and night time temperatures an equally mild 18 degrees. Even the sea is still warm enough to swim.

After the hottest months of July and August, September sees slightly more comfortable weather.
Being the month of the Autumn equinox, it also tends to be a bit more breezy than the high summer months.
You might even see a brief shower of rain!

These are months in which to plan anything strenuous either early in the morning or in the evenings. During the middle of the day you need to be in the shade or taking it easy – have a splash in a pool or the sea to stay comfortable.

July is probably the hottest month of the year in Cyprus. Wall-to-wall sunshine is pretty much a certainty – though sometimes the high humidity does lead to mist on the coasts or cloud over the mountains.
This is a month to take it easy. Anything involving physical effort is very difficult – after 8am the temperature soars and it stays right up there until early evening. Even the sea is very warm to swim in. This is the month to get your tan firmly sorted!
