June in Cyprus is a time of long sunny days and warm evenings
High summer in Cyprus is now with us! It’s hot, it’s sunny and Cyprus is a great place to be.
The countryside has turned golden – and with that comes a big fire risk. Only last week I saw a huge fire raging out of control at Secret Valley near Paphos Airport – read more about the fire and how to minimise the risks of accidentally starting one.
At this time of the year outdoor activities need to be planned early in the morning and in the late afternoon. During the heat of the middle of the day it’s best to find some shade and relax.
Average daytime temperatures in Paphos in June are 29 degrees C during the day and 20 degrees C at night.
