Al Qassimi considers Love Cyprus Golden Stage Rally

Khalid Al Qassimi, a former Middle East rally champion, is considering entering the Love Cyprus Golden Stage Rally, which takes place in Cyprus on 7 November.

Featuring a single 25-kilometre mixed-surface stage run twice, the Golden Stage, the event is scheduled for the day after the Intercontinental Rally Challenge season concludes with the 2010 FxPro Cyprus Rally (4-6 November).

Cyprus Rally 2010: Interview with Nasser Al-Attiyah

Troodos Rally 2009 - Special Stage 13 - Argaka: Car no. 1, a Subaru Impreza N15 2009 driven by Nasser Al-Attiyah and Giovanni Bernacchini. They went on to win the rally. 11 October 2009.

Half way through the 2010 Middle East Rally Championship Nasser Al-Attiyah is the defending Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) Champion (and Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) driver.

Nasser Al-Attiyah is currently sitting third on the MERC leaderboard – 8 points off the lead.

Want to be actively involved in the 2010 FxPro Cyprus Rally? Be a volunteer!

Two days of events are taking place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th where you can learn all you need to know about volunteering for the biggest sporting event of the year in Cyprus – the 2010 FxPro Cyprus Rally.

Between 1600-1800 on Saturday at Makedonitissa Palace in Nicosia, a briefing will take place to give keen fans an overview of what’s involved in volunteering for the 2010 FxPro Cyprus Rally.

‘I’m looking forward to it’ – Constantinos Tingirides

Constantinos Tingirides came to fame when he took the lead in the 2008 Cyprus Rally.

While he didn’t manage to finish that event, by the end of the year he had won the Cyprus Rally Championship, with co-driver Aggelos Loizides at his side.

After a year off in 2009, Constantinos is back in action this year with co-driver Panagiotis Sialos.
