Want to be actively involved in the 2010 FxPro Cyprus Rally? Be a volunteer!

Two days of events are taking place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th where you can learn all you need to know about volunteering for the biggest sporting event of the year in Cyprus – the 2010 FxPro Cyprus Rally.

Between 1600-1800 on Saturday at Makedonitissa Palace in Nicosia, a briefing will take place to give keen fans an overview of what’s involved in volunteering for the 2010 FxPro Cyprus Rally.

‘I’m looking forward to it’ – Constantinos Tingirides

Constantinos Tingirides came to fame when he took the lead in the 2008 Cyprus Rally.

While he didn’t manage to finish that event, by the end of the year he had won the Cyprus Rally Championship, with co-driver Aggelos Loizides at his side.

After a year off in 2009, Constantinos is back in action this year with co-driver Panagiotis Sialos.

Provisional dates have been announced for the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC) 2010. Round 12 – the final round of the rally – will be the FxPro Cyprus Rally held in Limassol on 4-6 November 2010.

Defending Middle East Rally Champion (MERC) Nasser Al-Attiyah of Qatar scored an important victory winning the 2009 Troodos Rally and taking the Championship lead ahead of the final two rounds of the 2009 MERC in Jordan and Dubai.
