Cyprus in May - virtually wall-to-wall sunshine!
May is a great month to visit Cyprus. Spring is well and truly turning into Summer, the skies are blue pretty much every day, it’s very warm without being oppressively hot, the evenings are pleasant making outdoor eating normal rather than the exception.
The countryside continues it’s subtle changes too. Yes there’s still plenty of Spring flowers around, but the countryside is beginning to adopt the golden hue characteristic of high summer.
This is the perfect time to visit Cyprus for a host of outdoor activities. Walking and cycling are a pleasure before the full on heat of high summer.
Average daytime temperatures are a maximum of 25 degrees C during the day and a minimum of 15 degrees C at night. All in all, very pleasant! There’s a slight risk of some rain, but you’d be unlucky.
