After the hottest months of July and August, September sees slightly more comfortable weather.
Being the month of the Autumn equinox, it also tends to be a bit more breezy than the high summer months.
You might even see a brief shower of rain!

These are months in which to plan anything strenuous either early in the morning or in the evenings. During the middle of the day you need to be in the shade or taking it easy – have a splash in a pool or the sea to stay comfortable.

May is a great month to visit Cyprus. Spring is well and truly turning into Summer, the skies are blue pretty much every day, it’s very warm without being oppressively hot, the evenings are pleasant making outdoor eating normal rather than the exception.

April in Cyprus is delightful. It’s pleasantly warm, it’s Easter and the tourists are now returning in force. All this adds up to Cyprus being a really good place to be in April.

There’s an old saying, ‘March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb’. Very true in Cyprus!
In 2009, March has been a very wet month. Water shortage? Maybe not now!
February is one of the coldest and wettest months of the year. Its also the time many of the trees blossom and the countryside is covered in flowers.
The average maximum temperature is 17 degrees C and the average minimum temperature is 9 degrees C. Average rainfall days are six, making it one of the wettest months of the year.
